Lara and Andy Tie The Knot In Their Living Room

  /

A 2020 wedding at its finest. Lara and Andy had to change their San Diego wedding plans to 2021 and instead exchanged vows in Andy’s childhood home in Iowa, this past fall. After their 10 am living room ceremony they popped some champagne and cut cake with their closest family members. And after a few portraits, they shared some hand sanitizer, cake, and brunch made by their moms, right before heading back to San Diego.

I am honored I was included. Thank you Lara and Andy.

From the Bride:

“Andrea is wonderful and we haven’t stopped admiring our gallery since we received it. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to find her 3 months before our 10/10/2020 wedding when our original ceremony and reception were postponed and instead we hosted a brunch while we signed our marriage license during a short ceremony. We scheduled Andrea to take pictures of us and our immediate family for two hours and she did a phenomenal job. She was very easy to work with, quick to respond to any requests or questions I had leading up to our event, and made us feel comfortable while she telling us how/where to pose. She made sure to get photos of everything we asked in addition to many other great shots. During our mini-ceremony she captured us from seemingly every angle and I’m not even sure how that’s possible for one person to do – amazing! Andrea kept us on our short schedule without feeling rushed which is impressive because we were only with her for a few quick hours. I communicated my concern about the pandemic and need for everyone to wear a face mask indoors – she worked with me on this without hesitation and was thoughtful and discreet in how she posed us with my relatives based on my concerns. What drew us to her in the first place was her ability to capture emotion so well in her photos, and this proved true when we received our gallery it brought back every wonderful emotion from our wedding day all over again. We are incredibly thankful to have found her and will treasure the photos she captured forever!”
